The Old Buttlands Stores was originally part of a 17th Century stable block comprising of the Ostler's Cottage, a stable, the Coach House, the Tack Room, Shop premises with a hayloft over. These buildings were part of a range of outbuildings belonging to a large Georgian house named Kilcoroon
This range of buildings has now been converted into a charming 2 bedroom self catering holiday cottage suitable for up to 4 people.

The accommodation comprises,an entrance hall and lounge , a fully fitted kitchen/ dining room and cloakroom (occupying the former Ostler's Cottage) with a staircase in the old Tack Room leading to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in the former hayloft.



The property has the benefit of gas central heating, ideal for those winter breaks and is located in Chancery Lane, just off the southern end of the Buttlands in the centre of Wells-next-the-Sea, convenient for the shops and harbour.

The Old Buttlands Stores is pet friendly , - having a walled and fully enclosed garden, with direct access to Chancery Lane, or through the cottage. There is no additional charges for up to two dogs, though hirers would be expected to repair or replace any resultant damage caused by pets.

No Smoking allowed in the property.

Short breaks (minimum period of four nights) may only be available during late Autumn, Winter or early Spring.

Outside Property

Outside there is a walled courtyard garden.
The garden has private access from Chancery lane also has provision for secure covered storage of bicycles should you bring them.
There is a paved area with garden table and chairs and a barbecue for those warmer days and evenings when you may wish to enjoy some alfresco dining
Parking is on The Buttlands - a grassed tree-lined square - where parking is free and unrestricted and is adjacent to The Old Buttlands Stores.

Surrounding Area

The Old Buttlands Stores is located on Chancery lane on the South -east corner of the Buttlands.

Shops, pubs and restaurants and The Quay are only a short walk away and the bus stop for the Coast Hopper is on the Buttlands. The Coast Hopper plies the coast road between King's Lynn and Cromer.
