The Old School House in Matlaske

Matlaske, Norfolk

Description

Part of a Victorian former School House, this lovely building is full of character and history. Situated in unspoilt countryside, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life relax in the garden, enjoy walks and cycling from the door.

Since closure as a school in the 1960's, the house has undergone careful renovation to make it a spacious, contemporary but comfortable home with many original features retained. High ceilings, an original arts & crafts fireplace, exposed beams, and perhaps the highlight, stone doorsteps that show the wear of many children's feet over the years.

Sorry, no pets and strictly no smoking.
