Sheringham originally had three impressive hotels from this era and the Burlington is the last remaining. Thankfully is has been saved and sympathetically restored to provided luxury apartments. The wide external steps lead up and through double doors to the lower ground floor and a lift and stairwell up to all floors. Midships is located on the corner of the second floor. On entering the apartment you are immediately struck by the the light flooding in from all seven sash windows. Five of which look directly out to sea and two have fascinating vistas over the roof tops of Sheringham to Beeston Bump and the sea.

The hallway has storage for shoes and coats. There is a wall mounted intercom system allowing the front door to be released for visitors.

Enter the living area and you immediately appreciate two swivel reclining chairs with footstools placed in front of the sea facing windows. Unpacking will have to wait until you have helped yourself to the complimentary tea and coffee and sat gazing out to sea. You will never tire of that view but, when it is dark you may want to relax on the sofa and enjoy the large wall mounted television. The apartment is brand new so all appliance are box fresh. They include a Bosch induction hob and double oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is ample space for dining around the central island.

Furnished with a gentle nod to the art deco period when The Burlington was in it's heyday and echoed by the soft furnishings, pictures and selected pieces around the apartment. The comfortable king-sized bedroom has a built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside tables. Behind the quality heavy weight curtains is a view out to sea, taking in the gardens of the West Promenade. The generously sized twin room has similar storage and is decorated in yellow and black, again typical of the art deco era. The morning sunrises from this room and the kitchen are worth getting up early for!

The striking bathroom with its classy grey mosaic tiling has a large walk in shower. Yes, there is yet another sea view in here too.
