Description
A beautifully decorated 200year flint cottage comprising of (ground floor) entrance into a pretty cottage style kitchen well equipped kitchen with range cooker/double oven, leading to a utility/boot room with washing machine following onto the bathroom with a roll top bath.
To the right of the kitchen is a step down to the living room with two sofas a flat screen smart tv with access to streaming services such as Netflix and iPlayer (not terrestrial) and a cosy wood burner for those chilly evenings.
Exposed beams throughout this quaint cottage and a step up to double doors leading into dining room which opens out to the mature garden . Heath cottage has a downstairs bedroom and beautiful garden room which is a lovely sunny spot to spend the afternoon it also has a dedicated workspace.
Upstairs there are a further two bedrooms. plenty of wardrobe space and ensuite with walk in shower.
Sleeping arrangements. Upstairs One large bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite, one twin bedroom. Downstairs.
One bedroom double bed. Family bathroom.
A welcome meal can be prepared for your arrival (or any evening) and left in the fridge for your convenience so you really can relax and put your feet up. Please enquire at time of booking for seasonal menu and prices. Prepared in our local hygiene rated 5 commercial kitchen.

Outside Property
Heath cottage is situated by the pretty village sign and common of Lower Southrepps, as you enter take the right hand drive up to the cottage. As you pull up in front of Heath cottage you will see a pretty courtyard area on the right, this can be used as a parking space, with additional space behind it.
Walking round to the back of the property you will enter a private garden with lawn and flower beds/mature shrubs and seating area for 6 with Bbq, and children's pizzeria so the little ones can keep busy too. This garden has designated space for a hot tub and this can be arranged for the day of your arrival insuring it is warm enough for use the following day. There is an additional cost for this, please enquire at time of booking and we can arrange this for you.
The back garden is a haven for wildlife and often has deer's wandering through. The garden is also accessible from the dining room with doors opening out into it.
One well behaved furry family member is welcome to come and stay at Heath cottage. There is an additional charge of £30. if you are bringing a pet.
Surrounding Area
A quiet country location, on a nature reserve, wild orchids, night time moth walks and walking with Llammas can be enjoyed here on your doorstep. Take a right at the bottom of the driveway and you can walk around the common/nature reserve a boardwalk will take you over this, here you will find a babbling brook perfect for Pooh sticks, look across and you will see Heath cottage,
Many beautiful wooded or field view walks are right there on your doorstep. 7 mins drive to Overstrand where you can walk along the beach to Cromer and back along the cliff top.

village store in Upper Southrepps sells all your basics, Great pubs within walking distance. The infamous Suffield Arms, with its Sunday sessions, serving tapas and sangria and quirky decor, ( you have to visit the toilets) The quintessential village pub The Veron Arms & a 4 min drive is the Gunton Arms sister to The Suffield Arms. From Gunton station (1 min drive 5 minute walk) you can catch the train to Historic Norwich and enjoy pottering around its cobbled streets taking in its ancient arcitechture, the Catherdral and its beautiful river ways which you can hire canoes, paddle boards and stop for lunch at some waterside pubs, or hit the shops, the city has much to offer a bustling market and a thriving high street and shopping malls.
On the same trainline is Wroxham and Salhouse home of the Norfolk broads where you can hire a boat on the iconic Norfolk broads. In the other train direction is the quaint Victorian town of Cromer famous for its Pier, Cromer crabs and Mary Janes chip shop. The Pier boasts a theatre where you can watch the seaside special shows that run twice a day all season long and then at Christmas time for 2 weeks. The next stop is Sheringham another pretty town to explore on this pretty coast. The Coasthopper bus runs the whole length of the coast from Mundesley to Wells 7 days a week to explore this deep history coastline. There really is many ways to enjoy North Norfolk.
So even if you don't drive or want a break from driving Heath cottage is the perfect location for your North Norfolk stay.
Visit BeWILDerwood if you have children, 25 minutes drive. The National trusts Felbrigg Hall & Blickling Hall both 15 minutes drive, to name but a few of what Norfolk has to offer.
