The stylish three bed-room, two bathroom holiday cottage is perfectly situated to enjoy a great coastal break with wonderful beaches, cosy pubs, quaint villages and bird watching reserves all within easy reach. Situated over a single storey, Castle Bungalow features a stylish open plan living space with a log burner and a well equipped beautiful kitchen. The dining area adjoins the lounge and kitchen providing a spacious yet zoned space which is perfect for holidaying with friends and family.The south facing garden is an ideal space to sit back and enjoy the North Norfolk sunshine.

Our Rooms
The master suite has a king size bed and newly appointed en-suite bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower. There is a chest of drawers and hanging space so you can unpack and feel truly at home.

The second bedroom has a double bed with chest of drawers and wardrobe. It is decorated with an art deco vibe.

The twin bedroom is perfect for our younger guests and provides a cute space with blanket boxes to store belongings plus a beanbag for chilling out!

The family bathroom provides a bath-tub plus a separate rainfall shower space.

The living room is equipped with a Smart TV plus blue-tooth speaker and DVD player. Books and games are also supplied for your use. The utility room, just off the kitchen, brings all the amenities you would expect from a modern holiday home.

All towels and luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen are supplied.

Guests of all ages are very welcome and the one level space makes it accessible for all.

Completely renovated in 2020/early 2021, Castle Bungalow is the perfect holiday home retreat, blending style, comfort and a smidgen of retro sophistication.

Outside Property

To the front of the property is a large, enclosed drive which can easily accommodate 2 vehicles, 3 at push. To the rear of the property is a mature, south facing garden with BBQ, dinning table and chairs and deck chairs! Great for lounging and taking in the Norfolk Sun!

Castle Bungalow is enclosed at the front and back so a good option for keeping our four legged friends out of mischief!

Surrounding Area

Thornham is picturesque yet vibrant and is an old smuggling village right on the North Norfolk Coast. Wide expanses of salt marsh separate the village from the sea and it is a paradise for walkers and birdwatchers.

There are several great places to eat including Thornham Deli, selling all manner of local produce, cakes, specialities and great coffee (and breakfast and lunch too!), The Lifeboat Inn, an old smuggling haunt complete with heavy beams and roaring fires, is great for relaxed dining whilst The Orange Tree is a great gastro pub. Head to The Chequers and enjoy a variety of dishes. You will love Drove Orchards at the end of the village, which started as a farm shop and pick-your-own-fruit farm, but which has now evolved into so much more! including a fresh fish bar, and the renown Eric's fish and chips (such a cool place); you will adore the diversity of this little village right on the coast.

The beach, reached by a walk past the harbour and over the sea defence and over the salt marshes, is stunning and you will be rewarded by peace and quiet whatever time of year you are visiting. Outside of the village you will find other spectacular beaches; Old Hunstanton; Holme-next-the-Sea; Titchwell and Brancaster, where a few miles further don't miss one of the best beaches in the UK at Holkham Estate, where you can also explore the hall and its vast parkland.

At Wells-next-the-Sea you will adore crabbing on the quay or visit the seals at nearby Morston or Blakeney. HM The Queen's Sandringham Estate is close by as is the Titchwell RSPB Reserve, or head to Holme Dunes nature reserve run by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
