White Horses Beach House is everything and more than you might expect from its breathtaking location overlooking the sea and the pristine dunes, as far as the eye can see! White Horses is spacious, welcoming, and beach life quirky, it is the place to create unforgettable memories of lazy sunny days. The house has private steps from the lawn down to the beach.
The view from the house and garden is always interesting - especially when the light reflects from the sea, you could easily believe you are sitting in the Mediterranean.
A telescope is provided to spy the ships and sailing yachts crusing by!
White Horses has all principal rooms on the ground floor including three bedrooms, a Super King, plus two King size bedrooms, both with en-suite showers and WC's. The two King Bedrooms share a 'Jack & Jill' ensuite. There is also a separate family WC with a washbasin. The beds have beautiful crisp white cotton bed linen & white fluffy towels are supplied (Please Bring your own Beach Towels!) The bedrooms are tastefully appointed with stylish beds, all have fitted wardrobes. There is a small 'personal items' secure safe, and a trouser press in the Super King Bedroom. All downstairs bedrooms have hairdryers.
Up the winding stairs to the second floor to the captivating 'lookout' room, this under-the-eaves bedroom has three single beds, and offers a birds-eye view over the garden, to the dunes and sea beyond. The 'lookout' bedroom is a favourite with children and adults alike, with its low-sloping roof and lofty views, it gives one the impression of being in the crow's nest!
The house is very well-appointed. A compact kitchen opens to the large dining room, which has a wall-mounted TV, and views over the totally private white high-walled Mediterranean-themed garden. In the spacious lounge, you will find a large Italian leather corner sofa, with two Stressless Recliners and footstalls, with white shuttered windows overlooking tropical palms, the lawned garden and our spectacular sea view. For evening entertainment and total relaxation, the lounge has a large 55" smart TV and an open fire.
Leading from the lounge is another 'loafing' area, the snug, where you can find books and family board games. With its beach-themed wall-mounted surfboards, and raffia window blinds facing the sea, it provides another beach bohemian lazy day area, to chill out and relax (relaxation is our aim!) The snug has two large Italian leather sofas with full-size patio doors and sea views. Ideal for morning coffee, whilst watching dawn break as the pink sun rises spectacularly over the sea.
The snug leads into the house's unique feature 'the sun' room with a wall of flowering geraniums, Jasmine, and a Rubber Tree plant! The sun room is south facing with glass windows and patio doors it leads onto a private sheltered patio. A lovely place to have relaxing family meals, avoiding any sea breezes!
Recently renovated, the house has been thoughtfully appointed for easy living, home from home. The easy-to-clean soft vinyl, lime-washed oak floorboard effect throughout helps add to the beachside theme. One King bedroom with sea view and the 'Look-out' room have new fitted carpets. Brand new fittings including dishwasher, washing machine, large American style Fridge, Coffee machine, Flat screen smart TV's , in one king and a wall mounted large flat screen TV in the Super King bedroom.

A luxury welcome pack is provided on arrival to help get your holiday off with a bang!
A small supply of barbecue coals are supplied
A basket of logs are supplied for the open fire.
Please note that there is Housekeeping/Damage security deposit of £350 paid before arrival, which is of course fully refundable within 3 working days of departure.
There is no charge for well behaved pets, maximum of 3. ( Pets are not allowed to to be left in the house alone)

We are very pet-friendly and supply an escape-proof weatherproofed dog run. Winterton-on-Sea is a wonderful place for being pet-friendly both on the beach and in the restaurants and pubs!

Outside Property
Outside White Horses you will find six separate terrace/seating areas! This allows guests to make the most of the sun as it moves around the house, or escape the sea breeze, providing ample areas to rest in the shade and still enjoy the sea views or gardens. Two external patio tables and chairs are provided with Parasols.
The gardens are well established with shrubs, a rose garden, rhubarb, parsley and mature trees including Mediterranean Palms and an Olive tree.
The front of the house is enclosed by a high curved white rendered wall spanning some 20 plus meters with double wooden full-size gates allowing ample parking on the secure and private shingle drive for several cars. The front garden also has a patio area overlooking the garden allowing for maximum exposure to the evening sun as it moves around the house. In the front garden, you can find the delightful and whimsical Scandinavian Barbecue Cabin which seats 8/ 9 comfortably, and with its rainbow-colored lights at night, the cabin makes evening barbies magical for all the family!
The rear of the house faces the Sea and has three separate patio areas in which to just sit and gaze at the seaview and dunes, whilst listening to the waves. This is where you can sunbathe, people watch, read books, and enjoy al fresco meals looking out to sea.
There is a small tropical garden planted to the side of the lounge, which provides a private terrace for the King size bedroom with a sea view.
White Horses is fully enclosed, it is very private, with a bungalow on one side, and a pond and wild flower area on the other, it is situated at an end of a no-through road on the private Winterton Valley Estate, in a quiet cul-de-sac, it is not overlooked.
PETS WELCOME. A sheltered metal dog run, enables you to have peace of mind - meaning that you can go out and leave your pets on hot days, knowing they are comfortable, safe, protected from the weather, in the shade and cannot escape or come to any harm.
Surrounding Area
Winterton-on-Sea has the most spectacular and beautiful landscape on the North Norfolk Coast. With endless miles of breathtaking sandunes known as the Marhams and golden sandy beaches to explore. Winterton-on-Sea is very Dog friendly, dogs are allowed on the beach and the Marhams, with local pubs and restaurants all welcoming pets.
White Horses is well situated for exploring the Norfolk Broads, and its Windmills and many attractions close by and of course the most famous of locals the 'Winterton Seal colony' can be seen bobbing in the sea or lazing at the neighbouring beach at Horsey.
Norwich is a half an hour drive. To the west the coastal towns of Cromer , Sheringham, and the poshest town in North Norfolk - Holt, are all within an hours drive away.
Hemsby, Gt Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Gorleston and the unspoilt towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Walberswick are close by to the east.
